Women's Ministry
Ladies for Christ is our Womens Missionary Union Group at Putman Baptist Church. This group consist of Women from ages 16 and up. Our purpose is to serve the Lord our God with All our hearts in Every area of our lives while also reaching out to others to show God's love. We enjoy the fellowship of other Christian Women and have found that fellowship to be one of the many building blocks of a strong foundation of any Christian Woman's life. We also host outreach programs at least once each quarter to minister to the needs of others in our chruch, local community and state.
We meet the 2nd Friday of every month at 6pm in the fellowship hall at the church. We have a snack and fellowship time, a devotion targeting the daily needs of women and their walk with Christ, and some time of fun/games.

We have completed the following projects in 2009:
1. Easter Baskets for the Sick/Shut-in
2. Disaster Relief Bags for the Union County Baptist Association - these bags included towel, wash cloth, soap, shampoo, brush, toothpaste, tooth brush, hand sanitizer. These bags were to be given to people in Union County who have experienced the loss of a home due to fire, unemployment, ect....
3. Clean-Up/Assistance Day - We helped Elderly and sick/shut-in women in our church with simple home chores.
4. Foster Care Childrens Project - We donated over 20 bibles and duffel bags to be given to Foster Children in Union County when they are first brought into the Foster Care Program.
5. Shriners Hospital Assistance - We collected needed items and donated them to the Shriners Hospital in Greenville, SC
6. Parents Night Out - We sponsored this parents night out as a fundraiser for Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We collected $80.00 for Lottie Moon and had 12 children to participate.
